- Students should pick an image that resonates with them, and start to think about why they chose that image
- Make notes on why that image was chosen
- Students research and investigate the artist and artwork series Mother, making notes
- Look at notes from research and reflection notes made earlier and find any links. How did the artwork convey the message Michael was aiming to convey?
- Respond to the saying ‘A picture speaks a thousand words’, using Cook’s artwork series Mother as stimulus.
- Students can write, draw, paint or perform a response to Cook’s work.
