Yuendumu Native Settlement 

LOCATION: north east Arnhem Land, on the east coast of the Gove Peninsula

DESCRIPTION: Originally established as a government ration depot, dormitories were built at Yuendumu but it is not known how long they were used for. Also known as Mt Doreen Native Settlement and Rock Hill Bore Ration Depot.

OPENING DATE: 1946
CLOSING DATE: 1976
