Daly River Mission 

LOCATION: Daly River

DESCRIPTION: Also known as Nauiyu, this mission was established by the Catholic Church. It housed Aboriginal children aged 5 to 17 in dormitories. Girls were supervised by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart while boys were supervised by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
