Bowraville Reserve

LOCATION: Cemetary Road now renamed Gumbayngirr Road

DESCRIPTION: Now known as Bowraville Aboriginal Mission, Bowraville was an unofficial Aboriginal reserve from the late 1880s to the 1950s. Aboriginal people were later moved to a new reserve on Cemetery Road, later known as Gumbayngirr Road.
