Make Healing Happen 2023

LIVE STREAM EVENT - 12th February 3:20pm AEDT

Thank you for viewing the National Apology Day anniversary event 2023.

2023 marks 15 years since former Prime Minister, Dr Kevin Rudd AC delivered the National Apology to Stolen Generations, their families and communities.

The Healing Foundation brought together representatives of Stolen Generations survivor communities to hear from key speakers and performers, including:

  • THF Chair, Professor Steve Larkin
  • The Hon. Minister Linda Burney MP
  • Senator the Hon. Patrick Dodson
  • Coalition of Peaks lead Convenor, Pat Turner AM
  • Muggera Cultural Enterprise
  • Jessie Lloyd
  • Shellie Morris
  • Radical Son
  • Yuwaya Wilma Li Danz Company
  • Madi Colvillie-Walker
  • Kiwat Kennell

We gathered in safety, not yet clear of the pandemic, and in our knowing of the power of collective healing. We gathered to reflect on the journey of healing 15 years on from the Apology.
