Watch Brian’s, TJ’s and Geoff’s videos and answer these key questions. You may choose to write these answers in a book or discuss with another student, educator or caregiver:

• Having a voice – why is it important to tell your own story?
• Who makes the decisions about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their needs, wants and hopes?
• Who has told us about our history?
• Who makes the decisions about what we learn?

• What did you know about K’gari? What did you learn?
• Write an article for a blog or an online outlet discussing representation and having the power to choose how you want to be represented. Refer to the videos discussed in this lesson.
